Combine the olive oil plus the green onions, ginger, garlic, lime juice, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Season to taste and set aside.

Use fresh ingredients, particularly with the garlic and ginger. Ground powder versions add convenience but you lose on taste quite a bitIf necessary agave, brown sugar or maple syrup can be substituted for honey.
