Heat medium sauce pan to medium heat. Add butter then saute apples with half the cinnamon for 1-2 minutes.
Add oats for another minute.
Add Apple juice, almond milk, and nutmeg mixing well. Cook according to package directions (bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes). Add maple syrup and mix in well. Serve
Notes
Change the ratio for apple juice: almond milk as you see fit and depending on your taste profile
Add a dollop of Greek yogurt to the finished oatmeal for additional creaminess
Use best apple juice you can afford.
Toast the oats in butter first. This adds a ton of flavor. Toasting brings out the oatiness, and butter is butter!
